Finally some athletics! 😫🙌 The students are finally back on both the track and field this term 🥳. Mr Okunja’s year 8 boys had their first ever javelin lesson as they focused on the technique of both handling & releasing of the javelin. 🎈🎈 https://t.co/Xcj3qJvC5X

Open Evening 2020

Dear Parents/Carers and Year 6 Students,

In this most unusual of years we will not be able to welcome you at Chobham as we normally would to view the school before your family makes its choice of secondary school.  Nonetheless, even without the opportunity of a physical visit, we want you to have as much information as possible to enable you to make the best choice.  Selecting and starting a secondary school remains a crucial phase in life for children whatever else may be happening around us.

At Chobham, we are exceptionally proud of our school and all that it has to offer. We have placed a number of videos and other resources on this page to help you and your children learn more about us:

  • A video featuring some of our Year 7 students showing their life at school
  • A video question and answer session with Year 7 students and Mr Whitworth
  • A video version of my annual Open Evening talk
  • Our general school promotional video
  • Some frequently asked questions
  • The updated Academy Admissions Policy

Parents should apply for secondary places in 2021 via the national e admissions system. The closing date for applications is 31st October 2020.

We absolutely value every application to Chobham and sincerely hope you consider choosing our school. We also hope that you enjoy the resources we have provided and find them interesting and helpful.

If you have any additional questions after reviewing these resources, then please email the Academy Reception at info@chobhamacademy.org.uk or the Admissions team at secondaryadmissions@chobhamacademy.org.uk

Best wishes.

Yours sincerely,

MWH Sig
