Line Management Responsibilities – Special educational needs and disabilities co-ordination (SENDCo), English as an additional language coordination (EALCo) and alternative provision (AP).
Whole School Remit –
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Academy’s Secondary and Post 16 SEND policy, particularly in relation to assessing, planning and monitoring the progress of children and young people. Ensuring the curriculum and environment are accessible for them, and that they feel a sense of affinity and development in their time at Chobham.
Responsible for ensuring that EAL learners are able to access the curriculum and make progress in line with their peers.
Responsibly for ensuring that students referred to alternative provisions access appropriate support for their development.
